So far, I'm having fun drawing, inking, and screentoning these pages. Most of this portion is political talk right now, but it will get more...interesting. I'm discovering how screentoning with a wacom tablet can give you almost unlimited freedom. I spend about 5 hours screetoning a page because I'm naturally picky, a perfectionist, and I am constantly being interrupted. But so far so good...we'll see something more exciting in the next two weeks.

The chapter 2 script is written up. Got to go look for it--I have it somewhere. >_< It's probably about 10 more pages or so until the end of Chapter 2. I really can't wait to start illustrating Chapter 3, because of the good stuff in Chapter 3. ^_^ Right now, touch ups need to be made on the costuming and set-design for the Dark Pride world. I started to scribble ideas of how Aurequaine D'Line should look--I have this image of her in a dappled forest with the dragon Diaston. It's really torture--I might not get to work on this image until after my finals. >_<

Is it just me, or is it the microns?? I'm so annoyed. Somehow, I was able to perfect this "smooth-touch" technique with microns (like a couple years ago) and I had everything really nicely controlled. Now, my inking is just driving me nuts. I can't ink smoothly anymore!! >_< What's really ironic is that when I was able to ink smoothly, I could only draw simple shapes. Now that I can draw more complex compositions, my inking stinks. How can I get something to balance out? I'm so out of practice...grrrr....
